Komoji is taking a break.

I launched Komoji in 2022 around one idea. When two people react to the same thing with the same emoji, they probably have something in common. React to your world, find your kind.

Four years on, the site has gone quiet, and the code behind it got much heavier than the idea ever needed. So I’ve switched it off while I work out what’s worth keeping.

I still believe in the idea, and I plan to come back to it under the Komoji name. Whatever comes next will be smaller and simpler.
